I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and come from a family of educators. I was enlisted in the United States Air Force for eight great years. I have been an educator for over 30 years and have taught 4th through 8th Grade. I have been a School Administrator for the past 20 years. I am entering my 11th year at Westwind Traditional School. I love the Westwind Community because we have amazing students, fabulous parents and an awesome community.

Mr. Will Seward, Assistant Principal
Mr. Seward proudly joins the team at Westwind Elementary as its new assistant principal! With over 20 years of experience in education, Mr. Seward served as a Spanish teacher, World Languages Department Chair, Mentor teacher, and Assistant Principal. His studies include a Bachelors degree in Spanish Education from the University of Montana, a Masters of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Masters of Education in Educational Administration & Supervision from Arizona State University.
Mr. Seward looks to bring his experience and energy as a bilingual educator to the team at Westwind. He is excited to get his feet wet with the younger kids, knowing that the experiences and opportunities they gain now are what will make them successful as they move forward. His passion is motivating students to succeed through positive relationships, engaging their families in the educational process, and supporting staff as an instructional leader. Mr. Seward is excited to call Westwind his new home and looks forward to getting to know and work with its staff, students, and their families!

Ms. Padilla brings with her a wealth of experience, dedication, and a profound commitment to the betterment of education. Her passion for fostering a nurturing and innovative learning environment precedes her, and we are fortunate to have her stepping into this crucial role.
As TOSA and Dean of Students, Ms. Padilla will undoubtedly play a pivotal part in shaping the educational landscape of our community. Her leadership, vision, and collaborative spirit will guide us towards achieving our shared goals of academic excellence and holistic development for every student under our care.
